When Windy

When Windy (180)
The Messenger of Allah said: The Wind is of the Mercy of Allah. It brings mercy, and it brings torture. So when you see it, do not curse it, and ask Allah for its good, and solicit Allah's protection from its evil.
Reporters

Reported by Abu Dawood, and Ibn Măjah. Al-Albăni said that it was also reported by Ahmad with comely ascription, just like An-Nawawi said. An-Nawawi (said Al-Albăni) said it was sound, and so did others. Al-Albăni included this hadeeth in The Authentic of Good Sayings as #126

 

When Windy (181)
When the wind would blow the Prophet would say 'Allăhumma 'innee 'as'aluka khayrahă, wa khayra mă feehă, wa khayra mă 'ursilat bihi, wa 'a`outhu bika min sharrihă, wa sharri mă feehă, wa sharri mă 'ursilat bihi (195)

(195) O my 'ilăh I ask You the good of it, the good that is in it, and the good that it was sent for, and I solicit Your protection from the evil of it, the evil that is in it, and the evil that it was sent for.

Reported by Muslim, and is #127 in The Authentic of Good Sayings.

When Windy (182)
The Prophet was such that if he would see a collection of clouds starting to form in the horizon he would leave work, even if he was in the middle of supplication, then he would say: Allăhumma 'innee 'a`outhu bika min sharrihă (196)
 
, then if it would rain, he would say: 'Allăhumma sayyiban hanee'an (197)

Reporters

Reported by Abu Dawood, An-Nisă'ee, and Ibn Măjah. Al-Albăni said that it was further reported by Abu `Uwănah in his Saheeh with sound ascription according to Muslim's conditions. Al-Albăni included this hadeeth in The Authentic of Good Sayings as #128.
