Greeting Only Those Whom you Know is of the Signs of the Day of Judgement (230)

The Messenger of Allah said: "It is of the signs of The Hour that the man would petition Salãm upon another, not petitioning Salãm upon him except due to acquaintance.

Reporters
'Al-`Adawee said it was comely due to another, and that it was reported by Imãm 'Ahmad on page 405 of volume 1.
